For a few weeks I’ve been hurting. The low humidity was like my winter deserts, without the snow. I didn’t feel up to drawing. But I did keep my art studies going. Thanks to Kindle, I don’t need physical space to increase my library. Also, I can get old stuff on Kindle. It’s one thing to read about the past. But it’s another to read the items others talked about. I’m starting to make some interesting notes on these items. And wondering how I might use this knowledge.

Well, the weather is changing. And it feels, according to my allergies, that it will soon be back to normal weather for this time of year. The humidity is rising, but my personal fluid level is rising faster. So, I do feel I’m at the end of this unseasonable weather. Now to get back to creating art.

And as part of that, I’m thinking of changing the name of my Patron Tier. From Backstage Pass to Producer-Director, as I want to better reflect how I would like to use Patrons. Of course, I will not demand Patrons be active participants. I will just encourage and do what I can to make it easy to participate. But will try my best to not sound like I’m demanding participation.

Now, before I make this change. I am going to give you an opportunity to give me some tips on how I can make this inviting and not scare someone off.

1) Does the name sound right?

2) Participation is voluntary, liking other’s comments is 100% participation

3) Requests and suggestions are being a Producer

4) Director is letting me know what you think about the art, even if it is to not finish a project

I made a free public post on Patreon that is not art. As I will be exploring non-art topics as well as art topics to see what attracts and keeps Patrons.

But regardless of what I end up creating. Patrons will see and get to comment on my development work as I develop a project. Thus, making requests as to what to include, exclude or do better. Which, in the end, I might not create the greatest thing ever. But I do hope whatever productions I do create will be the best that I can do. With the advice and consent of Patrons.

I made a November update post on my Patreon page. I talk about being back to zero patrons.

If I decide not to be an artist anymore. Which will depend on comments to my posts. As I am open to moving on to other types of endeavors that are not artistic projects.

If I do move on. I will not delete my account here. But I will delete postings that are not doing good. Those that are, I will see about inking the pencils and coloring them. That way all art will be finished art.

Now, I will be posting public posts for a time. Until I get enough input to make a conclusion as to what kind of creator people want me to be.

Or, if I get no input. I’ll just have to flip a coin or something to see what I should try. Which, if it is not being an artist. There are some interesting things going on with historic discoveries dealing with events before 1000 BC. Lots of history books might need to be rewritten.

Sumer and Egypt are 2 biggies very open to changes. But the biggest timeline open to re-evaluation is Israel. No insult intended, but the Bible is not a continuous unbroken timeline. Bible chronology may have become a free-for-all intellectual debate. Maybe more interesting than Sumer and Egypt?

But I’ll make that decision after I see what kind input I get from people. If I get any input at all on Patreon.com.

Male cross gender in cartoons is going to take too long. I might not have to view my whole cartoon library. But concepts are coming up and the research is becoming more detailed. Male cross gender in cartoons is not that simple. Thus, I’m putting it on the back burner for now. So, I’m moving on to something else.

My Little Pony, I only have 1 box set of it. But it is the first run of MLP. So, I have the foundation that started it all. And the rest I can get from the internet, as MLP is still quite popular. And it is this popularity along with not having many DVDs to view. That did make it attractive enough to be my next active research project. And it can easily be mixed with what has become my new #2 active project in the background, which of course is, Halloween.

I have posted another public addition to my current research. And as the slide from a Power Point presentation has no artwork. I am handing out another free backstage pass to all. To show everyone the level of research I am doing.

This is the level of research I will perform for all my research subjects: macro, micro, weight gain, inflation, vore, monsters, etc.

And Patrons will be a part of what I do. As my time is limited. I want to use Patron requests and polls to help me decide what projects would be best use of my limited time for art production. And that is why my backstage past tier is $1/month. I’m not looking to funding projects. I want volume of Patrons; hoping to have enough people that my Patron polling would reflect the general public’s views.
